Mosaic

Mission:

One of the best ways to keep classical music alive in the community is to create more opportunities for performers and composers to present exciting musical experiences for audiences. With this goal in mind, I have founded Mosaic – a flexible, community-centered group of approximately 12 musicians who will perform chamber music of all eras in the Santa Cruz, California community. Crucially, there will be a special emphasis on music of living composers, including the commissioning of new works. Concerts will be presented at least twice a year (hopefully more often), at various venues. Date, music, and musicians have been set for the first concert (January 2012).
